Our Mission

Since our founding in 2009, Sheepdog Academy has been dedicated to providing top notch firearms education for gun owners and "sheepdogs," i.e., the military, law enforcement, and law-abiding gun carriers that help protect us all from criminals and terrorists, i.e., "wolves." Many law-abiding civilians shy away from firearms because they are intimidated by firearms regulations. Likewise, trained law enforcement officers ("LEOs") and even attorneys often have difficulty understanding our complex patchwork of federal, state, and local firearms laws, rules, and regulations. As a result, too many LEOs do not carry off-duty because they are unclear about their right to national concealed carry.
